What is the LEP?  The Leopold Education Project is an innovative, interdisciplinary educational program based on the classic writings of renowned conservationist, Aldo Leopold. Targeted for grades six and above, the curriculum teaches about humanity’s ties to the natural world. The workshop provides materials and techniques for teaching outdoors, where students can be stimulated by authentic learning experiences. Participants will have a special opportunity to apply what they learn at a youth group event sponsored by the Wood-Lucas Pheasants Forever Chapter.

Who Should Attend?  5-12 educators (science, language arts, math, art, history), homeschoolers, non-formal educators, naturalists, interpreters, natural resource professionals, 4-H and Scout leaders, conservation leaders and anyone interested in learning more about fostering a relationship between youngsters and the natural world.
